How to Record a Property Step Check

To record a property step check (while recording a procedure):

1.	In the Recorder, click Property.

The mouse pointer changes to an arrow and a question mark.

2.	In your application, use the mouse to select a control.

The Properties List appears.

3.	If you are only interested in the value of one property, select it and click OK. A message appears, stating the requested value, and the property step check ID.

If you want to select more than one property, select each one in turn and click Check for each one, or double-click each one in turn.

4.	Click Cancel to close the Properties List when you are ready.

NOTE:

When you later execute the procedure with the Player, the log file will only mention the property step check if it failed (that is, if the value was found to be different from when the procedure was recorded).
