Test Procedures

Test procedures in USoft BenchMark consist of one or more steps, where each step is a USoft Developer action (logical event). You can use the same procedure in different tests.

While recording a procedure, you may decide that what you are about to record is a procedure in its own right. In this case, you can record it as a sub-procedure. Sub-procedures are always part of the procedure used to record them, but they can also be executed separately.

Each test procedure has a unique name, so that it can be assigned to one or more tests. You can also specify a keyword and the goal of each procedure. This will help you find procedures at a later time. Once you have recorded or generated a (complex) step in one procedure, you can also copy it into other procedures.
