Conceptual files (.CON), batch job
definition files (.JOB), system messages files (.SMG) and
application string files (.UMG) can all be generated from a single
Create Flat Files Dialog.
To create flat files:

From the menu bar, choose Tools, Create Flat Files. |
The Create Flat Files dialog
appears.

Specify a name for file for the conceptual schema (CON
file) |
| 3.
|
If you wish to create a job definition file for batch jobs (JOB
file , check the Create batch file checkbox and specify the name of
the file to be created. |
| 4.
|
If you wish to create language files, that is: system messages
files (.SMG) and application string files (.UMG), check the Create
language files checkbox and specify names for the files to be
created. |
