How to Define Domains

To define a domain:

1. On the Project Catalog's Model And Rules tab, double-click on Domains.

The Domains wizard appears.

2. Enter the requested information in each of the wizard's dialogs.

Once the domain has been created, you can refine it if necessary, by double-clicking on its name in the Project Catalog. You can use the What's This? help in the Domains window for more information on each field. Right-click on a domain name in the Project Catalog to edit or delete a domain, add a Domain Constraint or a New SubDomain.

NOTE 1:

You can also define a new domain yourself, by choosing Define, Domains from the menu bar.

USoft Developer allows you to document your application by writing descriptions or comments on domains. For more information, see "How to Comment on a Domain".

NOTE 3:

To view Log Information changes, with the Domains window open click on the Log Info tab. You can use the What's This? help in the Log Information tab page for more information on each field.
