To start a new statement:

From the menu bar, choose Statement, New. |
You need only perform this
step if the SQL Definer window is already open. If you have just
started the SQL Definer, this step is performed automatically.

On the dialog that appears, indicate what type of statement you
want to build (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE or DELETE), and (optionally)
a statement name. The optional name only serves within the SQL
Definer to display meaningful names for statements. It is not
stored in the repository and makes no difference to the SQL output
of the SQL Definer. |
