The Toolbar

The Toolbar appears just below the menu bar, and contains the following buttons.

Note that not all the buttons are available at all times: it depends on what you are doing. A button may not be on the bar, or it may be on the bar, but grayed out. You can drag the Toolbar to another place in the window, if you wish. Each button is a shortcut to a particular action, which can also be carried out from the keyboard, as shown below.

Saves your data in the database.

 

Displays the Transactions Window.

ALT+F, T

Displays or hides the Project Catalog

ALT+V, C

Displays the Objects List.

ALT+V, O

Opens the SQL Command dialog.

ALT+T, S

Displays the Related Windows list.

F9

Undoes any actions since the last Save.

CTRL+Z

Creates a new empty record.

ALT+INSERT

Copies the values of the previous record into the current record.

F7

Deletes the current record.

CTRL+D

Moves to the previous page or record.

PAGE UP

Moves to the previous record.

CURSOR UP

Moves to the next record.

CURSOR DOWN

Moves to the next page or record.

PAGE DOWN

Queries all records.

ALT+F3

Puts the window into Query Mode.

F2

Enables you edit the previous query.

ALT+F2

Executes the current query.

F3

Cancels Query Mode.

F6

Enables you to obtain What's This? help, by first clicking the button, and then clicking in a field.
