Input Allowed property

This is where you specify whether input is allowed. Set this property to No, for example, if the column is based on a Sequence Number domain.

NOTE:

Note that if you use the Definer to specify that input is not allowed for a particular column, you cannot then use the Input Allowed property in the Windows Designer to re-allow input for fields using that column. The Definer setting overrules the Windows Designer setting in this case. However, if you use the Definer to specify that input IS allowed for a particular column, you can then use the Windows Designer to disallow input for fields using this column.

Note also that if you specify that input is not allowed for a column or a field based on that column, using the Definer or the Windows Designer, it is not possible to change the background color of affected fields.
