Pre-record-entry property |
This is where you specify the action(s) that must be executed whenever the input focus is placed on a new record line through mouse or function key navigation. This focus change may occur as a result of a window being opened, or the user switching between Query Mode and Data Manipulation Mode. These actions are also executed in Query Mode, and (for child info boxes) when the user scrolls through parent records causing new child records to be displayed in a child info box. They are NOT executed when the user navigates from supertype to corresponding subtype data or vice versa, or between master data and corresponding data in a secondary info box. This type of navigation is handled as if the user stayed within the same record.
