Lock Parent on Sequence |
If your child primary key is a combination of a foreign key and a sequence number, usually you need to lock the parent record while the sequence number is fetched. The Lock Parent on Sequence property is an application property with default value No. You can set this Lock Parent on Sequence property to Yes for integrity reasons. NOTE: When used on Oracle, USoft makes use of Oracle sequences for normal sequence numbers, but not for primary keys that are a combination of a sequence number and another column. |
