You
can also use Sybase Central to create the necessary accounts.
To do this:
| 1.

Make a System Administrator connection to the server, using the
Connect option from the Tools menu in Sybase. |
| 2.
|
Select the database from the catalog diagram. |
| 3.
|
Choose Add Login, and supply a user name and password (at least
five characters). |
| 4.
|
Choose users as the default database login (change the default
language for the login, if required) and finish. |
| 5.
|
Add the user to the database. Select Databases in the dialog.
Choose Users and Add User. |
| 6.
|
Give the user appropriate rights. Select the user added above,
and choose properties from the right mouse button menu. |
From the Command tab, select
the Create Procedure, Create Table, and Create View options.
