By default Windows 2003 server
uses the Windows Classic look and feel. Check the Themes tab in the
Display Properties dialog. By default on Windows 2003 only the
Windows Classic theme is available.
If you want to enable the
Windows XP theme, for example, you must perform the following
steps:
1.

In the Services panel open the Themes service. This service
provides the user experience theme management. |
2.
|
Change the Startup type to Automatic and start the
service. |
3.
|
Open the Display Properties dialog. Check that in the Theme tab
the Windows XP theme now appears in the Theme drop down list. |
4.
|
Check the Windows XP theme to enable the XP look and feel. |
If you intend to use USoft
WebDesigner on the Windows 2003 (or higher) platform, you must
ensure that the use of Active Scripting and of Active Server Pages
is enabled. To do this:
1.

Open Internet Explorer. |
2.
|
Select Tools, Internet Options from the menu bar. |
3.
|
Click the Security tab, and choose the Internet Zone. |
5.
|
In the resulting list, check the Enable Scripting/Active
Scripting option. |
6.
|
In the Services panel, open the Internet Information Services
Manager. |
7.
|
Open the Web Service Extension and set Active Server Pages =
Allowed. |
