Grouping Rules by Rule Set |
Rule Sets are a free-style grouping mechanism for Business Rules. Like Classifications, team members can freely enter, change and drop Rule Sets and then classify Business Rules by those Rule Sets. Classifications are about the type or nature of the rules. In contrast, Rule Sets are about the impact that rules have on each other and on the system as a whole. Grouping rules by Rule Set is appropriate when rules work together to define a specific mechanism or result. Examples of Rule Sets are:
