A rule set is a logical cluster of business rules; this could be, for example:

· A group of rules that together constitute a process.

· A logical group of restrictive rules (e.g. rules that safeguard the integrity of address information).

To define rule sets:

· From the menu bar, choose TeamWork, Preparation, Rule Sets or double-click Rule Sets in the catalog.

The Rule Sets window appears.

· Provide the rule set with a code, and a name.

· Indicate the business area to which the rule set applies.

· In the Description field, describe the process covered by the rule set(s).

· For each of the business rules that belong to this set, enter a sequence number. This sequence number will ensue that output is displayed in the right order, making it easier to understand.
· Save your changes.
