Several windows within the Web
Designer are dockable. This includes the Catalog and Property
Inspector, for example. Dockable windows can be:
·
|
Docked to the sides of the main Web Designer window. Click on
the window's title bar and drag the window to the right, left, top
or bottom edge of the main window, depending on where you want the
window to be docked. |

Floated above your application in separate windows.
Double-click on a docked window's title bar, and it will appear as
a floating window in the middle of the design area. You can then
drag the floating window to the desired position. Double-click the
title bar to dock the window again. |
You can also drag the window
outside the perimeter of the main window, where it can be
positioned on the Desktop, for example. You may wish to do this to
clear the design area temporarily, for example. Double-click the
window's title bar to dock the window again.

Hidden, or collapsed in the left margin of the main window,
only appearing when the user moves their cursor over the windows's
caption in the left margin. To automatically hide windows when they
are not in use, click on the pin in the windows's title bar so that
it changes from: to:. The window will now automatically collapse
when it is not being used. Move your mouse over the caption in the
left margin to make the window reappear. Click the pin again to
turn off the automatic collapse behavior. |

Docked to other Docked Windows. Click on the title bar of the
window to be docked, and drag it to the right or left edge of the
other docked window if you wish them to appear side by side, or to
the middle of the other docked window if you wish them to appear
above and below each other. |
