While all the system messages
including the borrowed messages are loaded into the T_SYS_MSG table
by the Load System Messages command, the Populate Application
Strings command only loads the application strings of the user
application, and not the borrowed strings. If you want to translate
the borrowed application strings, you have to add both the English
string and the corresponding local language string to the
repository.
To add translation for the
borrowed strings:
1.

From the menu bar, choose Select Tools, Language, Used
Application Strings. |
The Used Application Strings
window is displayed.

Input the application string that should be translated. |
3.

Click the Related Window button on the toolbar. |
The Related Window List is
displayed. Select Translated Strings are translation for Used
Application String, and click OK.
4.

Input the translated string. |
