Application Columns

Previous Next

An application column is the fact that, in USoft Authorizer, a specific column name is registered as being an existing column in a specific application.

Each application column is identified by the combination of a table name and a column name. The table name is the name of an application table.

USoft Authorizer needs these registrations so that Column Rights may be defined for existing Applications.

To register application columns for a given application, or update the list of application tables for that application:

1.Right-click the Authorization Tables node in the project catalog, and choose Fill Authorizer Tables.
The Populate Authorizer wizard appears.
2.Enter the requested information in each of the wizard's dialogs.

NOTE 1: Check the Remove Obsolete Entries box if you wish to delete any existing application authorization table entries that are no longer used for any applications. Note that this option should be used with care; you may lose valuable information if you check this box.

NOTE 2: You can also register application tables by choosing Tools, Fill Authorizer Tables from the menu bar.
