Create flat files

For "Application", from "Database account", creates .con, .job, .umg, .smg, .esi flat files in "Destination folder".

For modules with "Module delivery policy" = "Copy previous flatfiles", copies the previous version of the flat file instead of generating it from scratch:

•You can view "Module delivery policy" settings by choosing Define, Applications from the menu.

•The previous version of the flat file is found in the previous release folder. You can view the name of this folder by choosing Release, Current Release: it is the combination of "Root folder" and "Previous application version".

Notes

The following (5) flat files are created:

•application.CON

•application.JOB

•application.ESI

•application.SMG

•application.UMG

This happens regardless of whether a file contains any relevant information. For example, an .ESI file is created even if no paintings were defined in Windows Designer.
