Active and Inactive Constraints |
Constraints have Active = Yes by default. If you want a constraint to be ignored at runtime for testing or debugging purposes, you can clear the Active check box to make the constraint inactive. The Active setting is a result of manual action on your part. To change it, you must actively edit it in the Constraints window. USoft does not automatically reset this flag, unlike the Correct flag. Best practice is to make sure that all existing constraints have Active = Yes when you release the constraints to target machines. Some teams use the Active = No setting to keep constraints that are not really part of the application for possible future use, but this is error-prone.
