Creating a Bitmap

The buttons on the toolbar display a bitmap that can be created with any drawing tool that supports the BMP file format, e.g. MS Paint.

Guidelines for creating bitmaps are:

•The bitmap is to contain 16 by 16 pixels.

•If your bitmap has a background color, draw a box around the outside edge of the bitmap and give it a color that is different to the background color. This ensures that the background color is displayed in the toolbar. The outside edge is not displayed.

•Save the bitmap in the BMP file format, in the USD8\BITMAPS directory.

NOTE: The bitmap must be delivered with the application for the runtime environment.
