Most visible objects (controls) have borders, for which you can set the color. For your new color setting to take effect, however, you must make sure that the border WIDTH is greater than zero.
To change the border color of an object:
1. | In the Windows Designer catalog, select the class of windows/dialogs for which you want to specify the border color of some of their constituent objects. |
| Always do this at the highest possible level. |
2. | In the design view of the selected class, click the object whose border color you want to change. |
3. | Open the Property Inspector, and then click its Visual tab page. |
4. | Put the cursor in the Border Color field, and then do one of the following: |
•Click the dropdown button, and then choose one of the system colors (e.g. Desktop, Button Face) or a "real" color (e.g. Green) from the list. or
•Click the dotted button at the tyop of the Property Inspector, and then choose a color from the dialog that appears.
