How to Define Notes

Notes allow project team members to communicate in a standardized and structured way. They can "send" notes from one or more team members to one or more other team members. In a note, you can specify which design element the note is about. By using this structured way of communicating, you can easily find all remarks, decisions, and assignments that were made during the life-cycle of business objects, rules or areas.

To define notes:

From the menu bar, choose TeamWork, Communication, Notes or double-click Notes in the catalog.

The Notes window appears.

Use the lookup buttons on the fields to choose items to insert in the fields.

Specify the originator(s) of the note, the addressee(s), and the dates associated with the note.

In the description field, provide a description of the purpose of the note.

Save your changes.
