How to Generate an ESI Flat File

Once your design work is finished, you can generate an ESI flat file for deployment.

To generate an ESI flat file:

1.	From the menu bar, choose Tools, Generate Flat File.

The Generate Flat File dialog appears.

2.	Type the name of the application, or click the Browse button to locate an existing ESI file.

Click OK.

The file will be written to the working directory.

Unlike the CON file, you cannot rename this ESI file at operating system level afterwards.
