How to Modify the Reserved Words List

Reserved words cannot be used in table or column names.

To modify the list of reserved words:

1.	From the menu bar, choose Tools, Options, Reserved Words.

The Reserved Words window appears.

2.	Do one of the following.

•To delete a word, define and execute a query that retrieves the word you are looking for, then click the Delete Record button on the toolbar.

•To insert a new word, click the New Record button on the toolbar, then type the new word.

3.	Save your changes in the database.
