To prepare for using USoft Repository Manager:
| 1. | Have USoft 8 installed, including the Repository Manager. |
| 2. | Have an editor installed that can open and handle large XML files, for example Notepad++. |
| TIP: In Windows, associate files with extension .xml with this editor, and NOT with Internet Explorer. The reason is that opening large XML documents can be a drain on performance in some browsers. |
| 3. | If you plan to export USoft 7.0/7.1 repositories, you have to specify the path to your USoft version 7 installation folder in the following file once: |

USoftApplications\RepositoryManager\scripts\us7path.bat
