How to Select Multiple Objects

You may want to select more than one object simultaneously, for example in order to group them. Most actions that you can perform on objects (such as using the Property Inspector to change properties) do not work when multiple objects are selected.

To select multiple objects:

•Move the mouse cursor to an object that you want to select.

•Hold down the CTRL key, then click the left mouse button.

The selected object is now marked by eight dots.

•Still holding down the CTRL key, move the mouse cursor to another object.

•Click the left mouse button.

Repeat the previous two steps as many times as necessary.
