Why Define More Complex HTML Batch Jobs?

The export job defined in step 6 of this Test Drive extracts data from just one table. In relational databases, however, data that logically belongs together is often fragmented and stored in different tables.

In reports we expect data to be presented in logical units, so the export job should take care of gathering data stored in more than one table.
