For each frequently used window, set the caching priority. Possible values are: High, Medium, or Low.
Background
If a window has not been used for a while but is marked as having high priority, the medium- and low-priority windows are removed from cache first. By setting the most important windows to high priority, you ensure that those windows will remain in cache even if they are not used so often.
When to use
You can use this tip if you want to influence the order in which the Rules Engine releases window instances from the cache if the cache overflows.
To influence the caching priority of a cached window class:
1. | In the Windows Designer, open the appropriate window class. |
2. | Open the Property Inspector for the selected class. |
3. | On the General tab page, select the Fast-Open Priority property. |
4. | Set this property to High, Medium, or Low. |
