How to set tablespace definitions

To set table space definitions:

1.	From the menu bar, choose Tools, System Installation, Table Space Definitions

The Table Spaces window appears.

2.	Complete the dialog as follows:

•Click the Site Number lookup button to select the site at which the application database will be used.

•Type the name of the table space to be created at this site.

•Set default values for the size required for the creation of the table, the minimum and maximum number of extents to be allocated, and the percentage increase of the number of extents.

•Check the Online box if you wish the table space to be created online.

•Provide the name(s) of the database file(s) to be created as the database files for the table space. For each file, specify its size and whether or not it can be reused.

3.	Save your settings in the database.
