Configuring the USoft Remote Rules Service API - Introduction

Once the USoft Remote Rules Service API is installed, there are a number of configuration tasks that must be performed. These include setting RDBMS connection options and making sure that the correct application repository is used.

On Windows systems, the USoft Remote Rules Service API requires that USoft Production is also installed. The RDBMS type selected during the installation of USoft Production will also be used by the USoft Remote Rules Service API.

On Windows systems, the USoft Remote Rules Service API is configured using the USoft Remote Rules Service Configurator Dialog. This is accessible from the Administrative Services section of the Control Panel.
