Configuration is the operation of adapting deliverables to a required situation on a target machine that is different from Development. Configuration mostly involves setting machine-specific parameters.

Using USoft Delivery Manager, you can automate many of the steps necessary to configure USoft deliverables to target machines.

When publishing a server, Service Definer generates 3 configuration files based on data defined in Service Definer and associated with one of 3 types of configuration. These files can be used by Delivery Manager for configuration:
