Upgrading the Production Environment to USoft 9.1

Production environments contain authorization tables and those tables have to be upgraded as well.

There are three ways to upgrade the authorization tables:

1.Use the upgrade tool as described in Upgrading the Development Environment to USoft 9.1. The upgrade tool automatically detects that there are no development tables and will only upgrade the authorization tables.

2.Using the 'Create Tables...' option on the Authorizer in the binder.

3.Using the database script which can be found in the "util\Upgrade" folder in your installation. The folder contains an upgrade script for Oracle and for MS Sql Server.
The database script is especially handy when there are many production environments which need to be upgraded. In that situation the upgrade can be easily automated using the provided script.
