Subtype indicators are Check Boxes that indicate whether an entity is a certain subtype. For example, a person can be a male and a guide.

Subtype indicator columns will NOT be displayed:

· If they are not part of the underlying query.

· If their Displayed property has been set to No.

In all other cases they will be displayed as follows:

· If NO presentation has been defined, they are displayed just like the other columns.

· If the Subtype Presentations property in the Windows Designer has been left empty, they are displayed just like the other columns.

· If a presentation HAS been defined, it is displayed with ALL its columns that have Displayed=Yes.

· If a presentation is shown in multi-record view, the subtype indicators are displayed just like the other columns, but with a (presentation) border. Each column has its own Open button.
