Subtype Presentations

Previous Next

Subtypes can be combined into different presentations. By means of these presentations you can determine how subtypes are represented in the supertype window. You can indicate the order in which the elements are to be shown on the screen, the label (prompt) for each one, and which label to display above the presentation group box. You can also make further adjustments to the layout using the Windows Designer, if necessary. For more information, see the USoft Windows Designer Help.

NOTE:

Whereas a subtype can be an element of different definitions, a subtype can only belong to one presentation. All tables that are elements of one subtype presentation must have the same supertype.
