To use the Data Model Loader
utility in USoft Definer, you need to configure USoft as an ODBC
data source.
To configure USoft as an ODBC
data source:
| 1.

Open the Control Panel from the Start menu. |
| 2.
|
Open Administrative Tools and Click ODBC Data Sources. |
| 3.
|
Choose the User DSN tab and click Add to create a data
source. |
| 4.
|
From the list view, choose USoft Remote Rules Service API and
click Finish. |
The USoft Remote Rules
Service API Configurator is displayed.
| 5.
|
In the Data Source Name field, type "USoft Definer". |
| 6.
|
In the Application Name field, type "USD". |
| 7.
|
In the Read From field, specify File. |
| 8.
|
Specify connection information in the Connection fields and
click OK. |
| 9.
|
Click OK to return to the Control Panel. |
