How to Start the Rules Service on Unix

Before starting, the Rules Service first has to be configured.

To start the Rules Service on a Unix server computer:

1. Start the Rules Engine service as a daemon by typing:

Unix> RulesService <port number> &

By default, this port number is 7777.
