How to Apply a Deployment Configuration

You apply a deployment configuration by associating it with one or more user groups of your application.

Each time a user logs onto the application, the configuration settings of his or her user group apply.

To apply a deployment configuration:

1. Retrieve the application by double-clicking on the application name in the Authorizer project catalog,


Choose Define, Applications from the menu bar and perform a query.

2. In the user groups related box, fill out the Deployment Configuration field for each user group.

Instead of the Application info window, you can also use the User Groups info window, or access the "User Group has a Deployment Configuration" related window from the Deployment Configurations info window.
