To define a domain
constraint:
1.

From the menu bar choose Define, Constraints, Domain. |
The Domain Constraints window
appears.

Enter the requested information. (See the What's This? help for
more details.) Click on the Action tab to fill out the Message and
Make Sure That fields. |
Keep the following in
mind:

When defining a restrictive domain constraint, skip the Make
Sure That field. |

|
When defining a corrective domain constraint, specify the
correction in the Make Sure That field, and optionally a condition
in the Do Not Allow That field. |

Click the Check button to have your constraint checked, or
choose Special, Check Constraint from the menu bar. |
If the constraint is correct,
the Correct field is checked.

Save your changes in the database. |

document your domain constraints by giving them comments or
descriptions. For more information, see "How to Comment on a Domain
