How to Define a Repository Definition

To define a repository definition:

1.	From the Repository Manager menu, select Define, Repository Definitions.

ALTERNATIVE:

You can also open this window by double-clicking Repositories in the catalog.

2.	Specify a Repository name, and optionally a Description.

For example: TRAVEL, with description:

All development, test, and acceptance repositories for the Travel Agency.

3.	Save your changes.

The repository definition is now listed in the catalog.

You can now define a repository version in the related box, or use the Repository Versions window, accessible from the Define menu.

NOTE:

In the related box, you cannot specify a password for a repository version.
