Repository Versions

A repository version is specified in the Repository Versions window. It has a unique Code and a Version Nr., and belongs to a Repository definition. It can have Database Account Settings.

Repository versions, or parts of it, can be exported in XML format. They are stored in the Repositories folder, as specified in the Folder Locations window, for example:

C:\XML Repository Manager\repositories\

NAMING CONVENTIONS:

File names for exported XML repositories follow these rules:

·	Definer repository versions that are exported using the Export Repository button in the Repository Versions window, or using the context menu of the catalog, have name:

<Repositories folder>\<Repository Version Code>.xml

This also applies to repository versions that are exported as part of a comparison and that do NOT use a basket.

·	Authorizer Repository versions that are exported from the context menu of the catalog, have name:

<Repositories folder>\<Repository Version Code>_AUTH.xml

·	Repository versions that are exported using the Export Repository Basket dialog, have name:

<Basket Exports folder>\<Repository Version Code>_<basket name>.xml

This also applies to repository versions that are exported as part of a comparison and that DO use a basket.
