Before you can use the Authorizer, Definer, BenchMark, or an application developed with them, you must first initialize authorization.

NOTE:

Refer to your USoft DefinerHelp or USoft Definer Guide for more information on repository tables. Refer to the USoft Authorizer Help or USoft Authorizer Guide for more information about authorization.

To create or initialize authorization tables:

1. From the USoft Binder, open the project file containing the USoft products you have installed, or create a new one.
2. Click your right mouse button on the Authorizer item.
3. From the menu displayed, choose Create Tables.

The Create Tables dialog will be displayed. Press F1 for Help with filling in the fields.

NOTE:

If you choose to drop existing tables, any existing data will be lost. If you are creating a repository to completely replace an existing one, drop existing tables.

What happens next depends on whether you are working in the development environment, or in the production environment.
