Post-Installation

Before you can use the USoft Series production or development environments, there are certain tasks you may need to perform, or to have performed previously.

For the Production environment, these tasks include:

·	Developing a USoft application.

·	Generating flat files.

·	Installing flat files on an application server.

·	Setting the language.

·	Creating a production database.

·	Setting up authorization.

For the development environment, these tasks include:

·	Setting up authorization.

·	Creating a repository.

·	Upgrading from older versions of a repository, if necessary.

·	Setting the language.

These tasks are all performed using the USoft Binder. See the USoft Binder help for more details.
