Stand-Alone, Navigated and Embedded Pages |
A web application consists of pages. These may be stand-alone pages, in which case USoft publishes a page that is managed by a third-party tool such as a content management tool. More typically, various end user navigation options between pages will be considered part of the functionality of the USoft application. These are built in Web Designer using the actions navigateTo(), navigateToLookup() and navigateToRelated(). Navigation involves page stacking (see next section). A second possible page construct is to re-use design work by embedding (or inserting) one or more pages in another page. In Web Designer, page embedding is always a form of page stacking. |
