Installing a Web Designer Production Environment On Unix

Previous Next

You can install the run-time environment for a Web Designer application on other platforms than Windows.

In this case, instead of Microsoft Internet Information Services, you need another web server that supports Java server pages (JSP files). Examples are TomCat or Apache.

In this case, you do not need to register the USoft Page Engine; the generated JSP server pages call the USoft Page Engine directly.

Make sure that the web server can read the JAR files in folder:

<USoft installation>/Java

Refer to your web server documentation for all details.
