Repository Manager Properties

USoft Repository Manager provides an XML-oriented approach to USoft Version Management that enables you to:

•Export a USoft Definer, Authorizer, or BenchMark repository, or parts of it, in XML format.

•Compare two XML repositories.

•Analyze this comparison and the differences between two repositories.

•Use this comparison to synchronize two repositories with each other by "importing" differences partially or completely.

•Define releases and patches.

•Export parts of an application.

•Define task sets that let you perform these tasks outside USoft Repository Manager, on an ad-hoc or scheduled (daily) basis using external scheduler software.

You can create Repository Manager tables from a Definer item in USoft Binder by right-clicking on the item and choosing Create Tables from the context menu. The Create Tables dialog will appear.

A Repository Manager item in USoft Binder has the following properties:

Name

This is the name of the Repository Manager item as it will be displayed in the main window of the USoft Binder file. You can use binder variables in this namer.

Run USoft Benchmark

Check this box if you want to start the item with the USoft BenchMark toolbox enabled.

Show Logo

Check this box if you wish to have the USoft (or your own) logo displayed when the item is started.

This is where you can list any additional startup options you wish to be associated with the USoft Developer (USD.EXE) executable for this item.
