This help topic lists all actions offered in Delivery Manager alphabetically by name.

Action	What it does
Allow disable constraints	Makes it possible to deactive the Rules Engine during import.
Apply custom XSL	Applies a custom XSLT transformation to an input XML file
Check objects	Checks constraints, jobs and Logical Views.
Clear and import from TDF	Performs the Clear and Import routines as if run from USoft Benchmark. The import file may be produced with the Export to TDF action.
Compare data files	Performs an ad-hoc comparison of 2 export files containing metadata or appdata.
Copy file	Copies a file in the file system to a target folder.
Copy folder	Copies a folder in the file system to a target folder.
Create flat files	Performs the Create Flat Files routines in USoft Definer and USoft Windows Designer.
Create folder	Creates a folder in the file system.
Create tables	Performs the standard Create Tables routine for an application as if run from USoft Binder.
Drop appdata	Drops, then re-creates application data tables, effectively dropping existing appdata (if any).
Drop file	Drops a file from the file system
Drop folder	Drops a folder from the file system
Drop repository	Drops all application tables, authorisation tables and metadata tables from a database account.
Export all appdata	Exports deliverable and non-deliverable application data to an XML export file.
Export deliverable appdata	Exports deliverable application data to an XML export file.
Export metadata	Exports metadata to an XML export file.
Export to TDF	Performs the Export routine as if run from USoft Benchmark. The result is a TDF file that may be re-imported with the Clear and import from TDF action.
Extract module names	Registers in Delivery Manager the names of modules consumed by the top-level application.
Extract servers	Registers in Delivery Manager the names of server objects found in USoft Service Definer of a database account.
Extract USoft version	Registers in Delivery Manager the USoft patch version with which USoft Definer for a top-level application or module is run.
Fill authorizer tables	Performs the "Fill authorizer tables" routine as if run from USoft Authorizer.
Generate create-tables script	Performs a variant of the "Create Physical Tables" routine as if run from USoft Definer, using the option to write to a script, but basing change information on a comparison with the metadata of the previous release.
Generate grants	Performs the "Update Application Rights" routine as if run from USoft Authorizer.
Import appdata	Imports application data from an XML file previously produced by running the Export all appdata or the Export deliverable appdata action.
Import metadata	Imports metadata from an XML file previously produced by running the Export metadata action.
Populate tables list	Registers in Delivery Manager the names of database tables and interface tables defined in a database account.
Publish publication object	Creates a publication by performing the Publish routine in USoft Web Designer.
Release create-tables script	Performs a variant of the "Create Physical Tables" routine as if run from USoft Definer, using the option to write to a script, but basing change information on a comparison with the metadata of the previous release. Writes the result to the \scripts section of the current release folder.
Release custom folder	Copies a folder in the file system to a subfolder in the \custom section of the current release folder.
Release deliverable appdata	Exports deliverable application data to an XML export file. Writes the result to the \appdata section of in the current release folder.
Release flat files	Creates flat files by performing the Create Flat Files routines of USoft Definer USoft Windows Designer. Writes the result to the \flatfiles section of the current release folder.
Release grants	Performs the Update Application Rights routine in USoft Authorizer. Write the result to the \scripts section of the current release folder.
Release metadata	Exports metadata to an XML export file. Writes the result to the \metadata section of the current release folder.
Release publication	Creates a publication by performing the Publish routine in USoft Web Designer. Writes the result to the \publications section of the current release folder.
Release scripts	Writes upgrade scripts defined in Delivery Manager (if any) to the \scripts section of the current release folder.
Release server	Creates a server by performing the Export Services routine in USoft Service Definer. Writes the result to the \servers section of the current release folder.
Run SQL command	Logs on to an application in a database account and performs an ad‑hoc SQL command defined in Delivery Manager.
Synchronise	Performs the synchronise routine in USoft Definer.
Update Oracle sequences	Resets current values of Oracle sequences used by USoft for generating unique numbers.
Validate publication object	Checks the correctness of settings registered in Delivery Manager for a publication object. Registers in Delivery Manager the current Publication Folder value for the Web Designer Publication Configuration that the publication object points at.
