To use USoft Model and Rules, you need to:

Install the USoft product set. See the USoft Installation Guide for details.

Create a new repository (a database account) where your work will be stored, or gain access to an existing repository.

The steps to create a new repository depend on the RDBMS platform you are using. On Oracle, you need to create a database account (linked to a database username). On SQL Server, you need to create a database, which may or may not be linked 1:1 with a database user.

If you want to work on an existing repository, you must first obtain the appropriate authorization. See the USoft Authorizer Guide for details.

Set up a development environment. Go to the "Getting Started" help topic for a quick step-by-step scenario for setting up an environment.
