While recording a test, you can pause the recording, perform any number of actions that will not be recorded, and then resume recording.
To pause a recording and then resume:
| 1. | While recording a test, click Pause  . |
| The Record  icon becomes sensitive again. The Pause icon becomes insensitive. |
| 2. | Perform the actions that you do not want to include in the recording. |
| 3. | Click Record once more. Recording resumes. The actions performed before and after the pause are both included in the result of the recording. |
In Web Benchmark, you can pause a recording, but you cannot pause a playback session started with Play test  . You can, however, pause a playback session started with Run profiler  . This is done by using the Run Console instead of the Pause icon.
