Stopping a recording

To end a recording, click Stop and then:

•If you are happy with the recording and want to keep it, click Save and give the recording a test name.

•If you want to discard the recording, click Reset . This allows you to click Record once again and start over, if necessary.

In Web Benchmark, you can stop a recording, but you cannot stop or pause a playback session started with Play test before it completes. You can, however, stop or pause a playback session started with Run profiler . This is done by using the Run Console instead of the Stop icon or the Pause icon.

With Stop you can also abort a step-by-step playback session that you started with Play step .
