Subtypes can be combined into
different presentations. By means of these presentations you can
determine how subtypes are represented in the supertype window. You
can indicate the order in which the elements are to be shown on the
screen, and which label to display above them.
NOTE:
Whereas a subtype can be an element of different definitions, a
subtype can only belong to one presentation. All tables that are
elements of the same subtype presentation must have the same
supertype.
To define a subtype
presentation and its elements:
1.

From the menu bar, choose Define, Subtype Groups,
Presentations. |
The Subtype Presentations
window appears.
2.

Complete the dialog as follows: |

Define the subtype presentation by filling out the fields of
the upper box of the Subtype Presentations window. |

|
Assign elements to this presentation by filling out the fields
of the lower box. |
3.
|
Save your changes in the database. |
