To define a delete constraint:

1. Right-click on Constraints in the Project Catalog, and choose New Delete Constraint.

The Delete Rule wizard appears.

2. Enter the requested information in each of the wizard's dialogs.

Once the constraint has been created, you can refine it if necessary by double-clicking on its name in the Project Catalog. You can use the What's This? help for help on the fields in the Constraints window. Right-click on a constraint name in the Project Catalog to edit or delete a constraint, or to have it Checked.

NOTE 1:

You can also define a new constraint yourself by choosing Define, Constraints, Table from the menu bar.

USoft Developer lets you document your constraints by giving them comments or descriptions. For more information, see "How to Comment on a Constraint".

NOTE 2:

To view Log Information changes, with the Constraints window open click the Log Info tab. You can use the What's This? help in the Log Info tab page for more information on each field.
